About the book

I’ve lived with bronchiectasis since birth, the endless antibiotics, IV lines, and every physio technique under the sun. As I grew older, I realised just how much this condition could take from me if I didn’t take charge. So I became my own experiment: every drug, every exercise, every supplement (if it claimed to help lungs, I probably tried it!).

But the biggest game-changer wasn’t a magic pill, it was discipline. Sticking to the basics: moving my body, eating well, staying hydrated, and nebulising 7% saline twice a day. When I kept consistent, everything changed. I’ve now been infection-free for over five years, which, given I once had nine courses of antibiotics in 18 months, feels nothing short of miraculous.

Logging my daily routine gave me accountability, structure, and proof of what actually worked. That’s why I’ve created this book: to share the system that helped me turn the corner.
